Eastside Golf doesn't just push forward, they break through.

Eastside Golf, after coming through the PGA Show with an expansive amount of 2025 stock, is finally blessing us with pieces, starting with the first drop of the spring season, “Shattering Expectations”. It’s a name fitting not just for the brand, whose rise from the precipice to the top of modern golf clothing culture has happened swiftly and with much fanfare, but also for the clothing itself. With a large amount of styles and colors available, most of the patterns, materials, and tones used in this assortment are quite different from what we’ve to expect from Eastside so far. This reflects not only the design direction for the clothing, which grows more intricate and detailed with every drop, but also the direction of Eastside Golf itself, who don’t just shatter expectations but do so in groundbreaking ways. Take their never before seen products like the removable swooshes or first of its kind collaborations with Ghostwrite. Even further, Shattering Expectations is a name that represents the nature of golf itself, where so many new brands, people, and ideas are introduced every day, and the expectations of the sport itself remain in a state of constant change.

While there is a copious collection of styles and colors, the drop is anchored by a beautiful purple patterning that is seen throughout, with each SKU getting a treatment in this design. With such a striking combination of patterning and colorblocking, it lives best on the jacket, a larger piece that carries the weight of the design more evenly. But, the vest and shorts combo is very elite, and while I wish they took the pattern onto a polo, as an underground wind shirt aficionado, the striping design takes it up a notch. I love how they focus on the deeper shade of purple, taking the pattern and moving it to the sleeves, keeping the middle intact. The silhouette of the jacket seems very streetwear inspired, with a bit of a shell look at the front, but with the light yet protective material you need to make swings in any weather. Moving away from the louder gear, we have the elevated cardigans, which refined scripting logo clashes beautifully with the large E that sits right on the chest. With three colors available, you can match the black and white styles with almost any fit, while the Eastside staple army green makes its singular appearance in this drop on this item. Rounding out the long sleeved selections is the lightweight hoodie, sleeker than the shattered swing jackets, with lighter colors and a unique quarter zip design rather than the full zip seen in the larger style. The crossover short has a great fit and the design sits really well on the stretchy material, while the same can be said for the familiar mock necks and polos, which release in some new bright colors like red, teal, and pale green.

Eastside Golf continuously pushes itself in new directions almost every single day, always announcing new collaborations, community events, tournaments, and other forward thinking golf movements. The way they maneuver through the over expanding golf fashion world is distinct and representative of the individualistic nature of Eastside’s mission and in turn, its designs. As with all the best brands, everything tells a story, from the marketing to the branding to the colors of the socks, if you’re doing it right. With this collection, Eastside perfectly captures what it means to not just overcome expectations, but subvert them.
